5.1.4. Structure - Review and improvement

The review takes place periodically – probably less frequent than the standing plan assessment – to evaluate the results obtained. These will be compared with the objectives and targets set under point 1 “Element need assessment and management statement”. If results are less than expected and the assessment indicates proper execution of activities then other or more activity may be needed to get to the wanted results. This needs to go into an improvement plan that needs to be provided within a context that is very similar to the structure provided here. The plan also needs to consider any improvements, changes or adaptations that may be required due to other (possibly external) reasons.

THE principle of MANAGEMENT RESULTS

"A manager tends to secure most effective results - through and with others - by performing the management work of planning, organizing, leading and controlling."
