4.1.1.00. Process - Motivation

The motivation to initiated and successfully complete the process is very identical to the motivation that is the basis of the Model described earlier. In fact the process is based so it should be very much one and the same thing. I therefore refer you to two pages of the model:

Motivation and Leadership and Performance level.

You will find most of the issues that are relevant to motivating company management to provide their leadership to the process. Motivation of other groups within the organization can be obtained by applying the steps of the process, by providing information, letting people know why there needs to be a change, what the process will, what the objectives are, how they will be involved and by providing positive feedback on the results obtained.

See also Rating.

A possible interesting tool to start the discussion that is often the basis for motivatyion to change is the Loss Control Maturity Profile. Just click HERE to have a look at the tool - you need a PDF reader for that such as ADOBE READER .
