Risk Management, Safety Management and Loss Control Topves 3.1. Platform Model: "Plan - Train - Do" Below a simple model is provided to reflect the basic elements of an improvement or change process. I kept it simple becasue of its communication value but also because I really think that the model and the process are simple - it's people that make it complicated and difficult. I also like to keep it simple because I believe that when you are working with an organization - thus with people - you need something simple to fall back on, you need that safety net. The four ingredients that were described under philosophy are essential for establishing the performance level (risk management/safety/loss control) which can be visualized as a platform resting on the three legs (Plan-Train-Do) which in turn find their foundation in "Motivation and Leadership¨.
