International Safety Rating

Intended as a series of six articles explaining the International Safety rating System (ISRS), I ended up with only four as the publication of the  magazine was stopped before I could finish. Of course, I hope that this was not the result of my writing but I cannot be sure about that.

Anyway, for those of you who wish to read some more detail about the ISRS as it was in 1987, here is what I wrote:

International Safety Rating - a PDF document.

Please note that addresses and telephone numbers mentioned in the article are no longer valid. At the time I wrote the article I had my own company ILCI Benelux which was associated with ILCI (Frank E. Bird, Jr.). Later in 1987, I sold ILCI Benelux to RISC (Rotterdam International Safety Centre) to become their managing director. When I separated from RISC in 1989, I bought it back and renamed it to LCC (Loss Control Center) which I sold in 1991 to DNV.
